Our Philosophy
We believe transformation should start with a clear understanding of the organisation, its priorities and the challenges it is facing. There is no single approach that works for every organisation, so the way forward needs to reflect its context, capabilities and objectives.
Our approach brings together people, processes and technology, while keeping strategy and implementation closely connected. We work with clients to identify what needs to change, how the different elements depend on one another, and what is needed to make that change work.
We also believe transformation should build capability within the organisation, so that progress can continue beyond the initial programme of change.
About the Founder and CEO
Jonathan Spiteri founded Strategy and Transformation Services Ltd. with a clear goal: to help organisations drive successful transformations. His approach is shaped by extensive international experience across the UK, France, Australia, Nigeria, Malta, and beyond, where he has worked with both public and private sector organisations.
Over the course of his career, Jonathan has supported transformation initiatives across a broad range of industries, including financial services, information technology, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, education, and public services. This breadth of experience has reinforced his belief that while every organisation is different, successful transformation depends on clear strategic direction, strong leadership and the ability to connect strategy with implementation.
Jonathan has established and led Strategy, Transformation, Professional Services, Project Management, Digital and IT functions, and has worked closely with senior leadership teams on complex organisational and digital transformation programmes. His experience spans strategy, operating models, governance, organisational change, portfolio, programme and project management, and technology-enabled transformation.
Jonathan is also President of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Malta Chapter and author of Driving Successful Transformations: A Leader’s Guide to Embracing and Executing Change. He has also served on international judging panels for project and PMO awards.
He holds professional certifications including Axelos ProPath Portfolio Director, Advanced SAFe® Practice Consultant (ASPC), PMP®, Six Sigma Black Belt and TOGAF 9.2, and holds an MBA from the University of Malta. Together with his international experience, these have shaped the way he works with organisations to deliver successful transformations.
